Neuroblastoma/Retroperitoneal Ganglioneuroma

 

There is a neurobastoma/retroperitoneal ganglioneuroma overlying L3 and L4. The usefulness of L1-L2 in diagnosis and follow-up will be imparied by the presence of degenerative changes.

Case Description:

This is the Hologic lumbar spine DXA scan from a patient with a neuroblastoma/retroperitoneal ganglioneuroma. L1 and L2 are analyzed, and their usefulness in diagnosis and follow-up scans is impaired by degenerative changes.
