Oncogenic Osteomalacia/Tumor-Induced Osteomalacia

 

This is the Hologic lumbar spine DXA from a man with proven osteogenic osteomalacia.

This is the Hologic left proximal femur DXA from a man with proven osteogenic osteomalacia.

Case Description:

This is a man who presented with bone pain and hypophosphatemia. A PET scan showed a lesion within L1 and his diagnosis was tumor-induced osteomalacia.
