Comments: L2 and L3 are excluded due to facet osteoarthritis, inferior and superior endplate sclerosis. Surgical wires overlay L3 and L4 and spuriously elevate bone mass at this site. As three vertebral bodies are not interpretable, the spine is excluded from the final DXA report. The femoral neck T-score is -3, indicating a densitometric diagnosis of osteoporosis.
