Comments: L1 and L2 demonstrate decreased height, suggesting incident compression fractures that are not evident on lumbar spine radiographs obtained two years prior (see below). The left femoral neck T-score is -2.6 while the left total hip T-score is -2.0. The entire lumbar spine is excluded from the final DXA report, as a densitometric diagnosis of osteoporosis can be made based on BMD measurement at other sites. VFA or radiographic spine images are suggested to confirm incident compression fractures.
